Manager (or Senior Manager), Programs
Remote
Part Time to Full Time
Mid Level
ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
The Center for Sustainable Finance and Private Wealth (CSP) is a nonprofit that conducts academic and applied research into sustainable finance and impact investing, and trains ultra-high-net-wealth investors, philanthropists, next-gen inheritors, and their advisors on evidence-backed frameworks for achieving greater—and more systemic—impact with their full range of capital. We envision a world where private wealth is a force for preserving and improving life for all—guided by evidence, collaboration, and a deep commitment to real-world impact.
Headquartered in Zurich with teams in Asia and the Americas, CSP has built a global network of 300+ alumni and helped mobilize up to $32 billion toward climate, environmental and social impact, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals over the past decade. Academic collaborators include MIT Sloan, Stanford PACS, and St. Gallen University.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a program management role at its core. We are looking for someone to take ownership of designing, launching, and running our next generation of applied wealth-holder programs in the Americas—carrying each one from concept to a well-run, repeatable annual program.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Programs, you will own a portfolio of programs outright—responsible not only for their design and launch but for their full ongoing management once they are running: curriculum, operations, stakeholders, delivery, evaluation, and year-over-year improvement. Over the next three years the candidate would grow that portfolio in the following ways:
These are not lecture courses. Both programs are practical, peer-led, and built around real cases, real stakes, and carefully recruited senior faculty. Your job is to manage them end to end—design and refine the curriculum, stand up the operations and partnerships that make them run, facilitate and orchestrate the experience, and improve them year over year. If you are energized by owning and running programs well rather than delivering someone else's curriculum, this role is for you.

Ongoing Program Management (50%)

Over the next three years the candidate would grow that portfolio in the following ways:
- Own CSP's Investing Lab—complete its design, launch it (first cohort begins November 2026), and then run it on an ongoing basis. This is our alumni-only, live-portfolio experience in which participants conduct real due diligence and deploy real capital through a live impact fund and Investment Committee, with monthly sessions across the year.
- Launch an annual Family Office Program on the U.S. West Coast (likely San Francisco)—design it, launch it (2027), and run it each year, adapting CSP's peer-led, case-study-driven family office curriculum for a North American cohort. Note that this will be an expansion of the European Family Office program series that has successfully run in Germany and the UK over the last four years.
- Launch the Family Office Program to the East Coast (likely New York City) in 2028, running both editions on an ongoing basis thereafter.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Design & Delivery (25%)
- Lead the completion and design of the Investing Lab curriculum and participant journey, translating CSP research and frameworks into a live, experiential learning arc
- Design the West Coast Family Office program (2027) and its East Coast edition (2028), adapting CSP's existing global family office curriculum and case-study format for North American cohorts
- Build the instructional design for peer-based, case-driven adult learning—the opposite of slide-heavy lecture
- Translate research findings and real-world cases into credible, decision-useful program content
- Facilitate and orchestrate program live sessions—in person and online—guiding peer exchange, case discussion, and hands-on work rather than delivering one-way content, facilitating where appropriate and supporting subject matter experts in facilitation
Ongoing Program Management (50%)
- Own the day-to-day and year-round running of each program once launched—the operating plan, timeline, budget, and execution
- Manage the senior faculty, speakers, and partners who make each program credible—impact-leading principals, family office CEOs, coaches, and academic partners
- Coordinate the moving parts unique to each program: for the Investing Lab, the Investment Committee, coaches, and fund/DAF partner (ImpactAssets); for the Family Office Program, single-family-office partners and academic collaborators
- Oversee registration, logistics, venues, and vendor relationships with support from other staff
- Run evaluation and continuous improvement, iterating each cohort year over year, and contribute to cost-effectiveness goals
- Ensure consistent quality, messaging, and learning outcomes across every program and session
External Representation & Stakeholder Cultivation (20%)
- Build and steward relationships with principals, family office leaders, partners, and ecosystem leaders across the sector
- Represent CSP as a subject-matter expert at conferences, panels, and industry discussions
- Support with recruiting and enrollment of program participants—building, nurturing, and converting the pipeline of wealth holders, principals, and capital allocators for each cohort
- Contribute to broader business development, including partner cultivation and other growth initiatives that expand CSP's reach and program portfolio
Other (5%)
- Collaboration and support for broader team as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong program and project management skills in a fast-paced, ambiguous, quickly evolving environment—comfortable building the plane while flying it
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, with a demonstrated track record of designing and launching major projects from concept to delivery—not only delivering established ideas
- Genuine subject-matter credibility in impact investing, sustainable finance, philanthropy, or family office / wealth management—enough to earn the trust of principals and senior practitioners and to design content they respect
- Experience recruiting and managing senior stakeholders, faculty, or speakers (e.g., principals, executives, coaches, academic partners)
- Strong facilitation skills for both virtual and in-person formats across group sizes
- Proven ability to engage high-net-wealth individuals, family offices, institutional investors, and/or senior wealth management executives
- Exceptional written and oral communication and outstanding interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, small-team environment
- Tech-savvy: GSuite, Asana, Claude, Zoom, Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to approximately 15%, concentrated around program delivery windows)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Instructional design and curriculum development experience, ideally for applied or peer-based adult learning
- Direct experience with impact due diligence, fund mechanics, Investment Policy Statements, and/or Investment Committees (directly relevant to the Investing Lab)
- Direct experience in or with family offices—governance, operations, or impact strategy (directly relevant to the Family Office program)
- Experience at a small, entrepreneurial organization
WHAT WE OFFER
- Flexible remote work, with a preference for candidates in key metropolitan hubs like the San Francisco Bay Area, New York, Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, or Los Angeles
- The opportunity to own and run flagship programs at the leading edge of impact investing and sustainable finance
- A results-oriented, entrepreneurial, science-based, and fast-moving global team, deeply driven for the advancement of sustainable development
- Deep embedding in CSP's global community of impact-minded academics (MIT Sloan, Stanford PACS, St. Gallen), practitioners (leading wealth management firms), and investors (ultra-high-net-wealth individuals and their family offices)
- Competitive compensation for a small nonprofit, commensurate with experience
- 25 annual paid vacation days, up to 12 annual paid sick days, ~11 paid holidays plus your birthday off (prorated by FTE)
- Up to 9% employer-matched 401(k) contributions
- Health, dental, and vision insurance contributions for employees and dependents (full-time employees)
- Travel to destinations such as Singapore, Zurich, Oslo, New York, and Boston
- Stipend toward a coworking membership
- Professional development support and growth opportunities
- Collaborative team environment with opportunities for advancement
